Patricia A. Talley is a Professional Artist painting realism art pieces at Creative Arts By Pat. For more than 42 years, Ms. Talley has been nurturing creative talents which currently enable her to expertly produce magnificent works of art in the form of inspired, inventive and imaginative portratives created with oils, acrylics, pastels and pencil pictures. Specializing in realism portraits, Ms. Talley paints realism art pieces that depict architecture including the beautiful windmills of Holland.
Ms. Talley was inspired by the exquisiteness of the valleys of Colorado at a young age. These vales encompassed Mt. Blanca, the Sangre de Cristo Range, and the Rocky Mountains. Her fascination with these scenes prompted her to follow her dreams to pursue a career in the arts, and to capture the essence of these breathtaking views. In addition to her love of artwork, Ms. Talley enjoys freshwater fishing, gardening, crocheting and needlepointing.
Ms. Talley is a member of the Rocky Mountain Artists association, Education of the Arts, P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the Pagosa Springs Arts Counsel. She also volunteers her time with the Colorado Welcome Center. In addition, Ms. Talley is a Hobby Lobby Instructor. She has completed coursework in advanced artwork at Monte Vista, and in pastels at the University of Kansas. She hopes to improve her technique and paint with other well-known artists in the years to come.
